Turn Your Facebook Photos Into Printed Albums

Mon, Mar 9th, 2009

Digital photography has brought us the benefit of being able to take as many photos as we like without additional cost, but also the curse of nearly never having the actual physical photos in our hands. With Facebook, it's gotten worse: not only we don't have the physical photos, now we often don't even have a digital copy of the photos on our computers.

HotPrints has recently launched to change that. It's a Facebook application that lets you create a HotBook - a printed photo album out of your Facebook photos - and send it to your friends for 2.99 dollars per book. HotBooks have 16 pages; captions and names are automatically added under each photos, and they come in three languages: English, French and Italian.

Judging by their customers' feedback, the folks at HotPrint have found that this idea will resonate best with parents, and thus they added two new HotBooks: Baby Book and Family Book. The idea is to document your baby's growth and turn it into a printed album each month.
