Stream live TV to your iPhone with Orb
I came across Orb on JKontheRun.com, and still can't believe how awesome this iPhone application is. I've never used Orb before but now that the company has released OrbLive 2.0, which lets you access all the media in your computer, I think I'll be taking the time to figure out exactly how it works.
The application has been available to jailbroken phones for a while, but now all iPhone owners can download it to their phones from the iTunes AppStore. I downloaded the free application immediately to both my iPhone and PC, and found the setup process to be extremely easy. You will need to have a TV tuner card to stream live TV to your phone, but if you don't have one yet, there are other ways to enjoy this valuable app.
For example, you can set up a webcam to monitor your house, watch Internet TV channels from all over the world, listen to your entire music library, watch home videos stored in your PC, and listen to Internet radio.
