Though it has been the next big thing for some time, the picture for short-range, wireless, high-definition video transmission is still blurry. Ok, that's a bad pun, but it's the truth. Years into the development of multiple incompatible standards for moving high-quality, high-definition (HD) signals to a TV from a set-top TV tuner, upscaling DVD or Blu-Ray player, or networked media players, we're no closer to one reigning supreme.
