Macworld.Ars: Day 2 roundup
The second full day of the 2009 Macworld Conference & Expo has largely come to an end. As expected, day two revolved largely around third-parties, with a number of companies eager to tell us about their Macworld announcements.
But first, Apple announced the iLife Up To Date program, which allows buyers of various new Macs to upgrade to the new iLife '09 when it's released later this month for only $9.99. As long as you purchased a new Mac on or after January 6, 2009, you qualify for the reduced-price upgrade—Apple is offering it because all new Macs will eventually come with iLife '09 and it doesn't want current buyers to get shafted.
On to the rest of the news!
Read on tomorrow for our last full day at the Macworld Expo '09. We are all already exhausted, but be sure to say hi to any of us if you see us around!
