MySpace COO Kapur Stepping Down

MySpace chief operating officer Amit Kapur is stepping down, Kara Swisher reports. Her sources don't know if Amit will stay with MySpace, where he's worked since he was 25. But Kara's sources say he's "interested in pursuing other entrepreneurial ventures."
News Corp.'s (NWS) MySpace has lost much of its lead against Facebook in the United States, and Facebook dwarfs MySpace worldwide. Kapur was one of the people mentioned as potential CEOs of MySpace Music.
